I passed the NBCOT® on my first try with flying colors thanks to Pass The OT. I started studying on my own and just felt overwhelmed: the AOTA® study program was too basic and the Therapy Ed® program had too much info to know where to start. Pass The OT, with their 8 week study structure, was just right. I also got a few phone tutor sessions with them and they were supportive and knowledgeable, with strategies to guide my studying and answers to my most complicated questions. In the end I used Pass The OT to structure my studies, loved their study resources, took their weekly exams, but also used the Therapy Ed® book for reference details and took a lot of AOTA® practice tests. The combination was best for me, my anxieties and my knowledge base.Read MoreShow less

I PASSED with flying colors! Thank you for all your support, Edelina! I'm attaching my results--518! Woohoo!!! I'm so pleased! Since I had such a big time gap between graduating and taking the exam I was overwhelmed last fall trying to figure out what and how to study. All parts of this course and especially the 8 tutoring sessions with you helped me get my clinical reasoning gears in sync. That's a HUGE part of this score. During the test I could hear your voice and how you would view and take apart the questions. The focus for each type of client was clear because that's what we talked about. I deeply appreciate your calm and steady belief in me, even on the days when I wasn't believing in myself. I'm so relieved that I passed the exam on the first try. Thank you thank you thank you.Read MoreShow less

Thanks to Pass the OT’s “Gift a Student Program”, I just found out that one of our top students, who surprisingly had great difficulty passing after using all the other study preps, finally passed on her fifth try. She had nothing but great things to say about this program, and now I am a believer too.Read MoreShow less

I have a strong background and love for orthopedics and have been referred to by colleagues as "the body architect" due to my knowledge and understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and kinesiology. Prior to entering the OT field I taught middle and high school sciences, which allowed me to gain experience in finding ways to relay information to students with various learning styles, as well as gain the passion to help students achieve their goals. As someone who has always struggled with learning disabilities, I have devised study habits and tricks that seemed to be helpful not only to my students, but also to me when I was preparing to take the NBCOT exam.
