I felt so lost studying for the exam, I study for a month just on a plan I made on my own I was using TrueLearn but felt tlike it wasnt really helping me, questions felt so complicated compared to the ones on the NBCOT study pack. I heard of PassTheOT and though you know what let me try it for 2 weeks and I got it 2 weeks before emy exam. I LOVED it, I regretted not getting in sooner, they create a study plan for you, they have all the key information that can pop up on the exam as well as more detail info. they give you assessments to take to see where you are, they give you key topics to study, study guides, reccomendation videos you can see through youtube and the main thing that I think helped me pass was the GROUP CALLs. I love the pass OT tutors. I had sessions with Jessica and Tucker and genuinely believe this helped me to pass. I took the test 3 times and passed on my third try! They helped me to understand the questions and get rid of all the fluff. Also helped me to gain confidence back! They were so sweet and were upfront when I needed it!

I finally got the news today that I am officially an OTR! I truly couldn't have done it without the help of two amazing tutors: Tucker Wrights and Jessica Charron. Tucker has helped me not only with strengthening content, but with breaking down tough questions. His specialty is Neuro, but he is extremely intelligent and well versed in a multitude of topics extending well beyond Neuro, and I've learned so much from him in the past few months. I first was introduced to Jessica durning an Accelerator Course she ran and found it extremely helpful, so I decided to book a few individual tutoring sessions with her before my next exam. She was extremely thorough, diligent, and just as Tucker did, she helped to break down difficult topics so that they were easier to understand. She puts forth a HUGE amount of effort and truly wants to see her students pass, which is evident in her pre and post quizzes that she gives during every session. She's the perfect balance of fun and work, and I left every session feeling positive and hopeful. After 3 failed attempts (435, 441 and 442) I finally made a 17 pt jump to passing at 459! I couldn't be more grateful to have finally made it, and please know if you're struggling and reading this- NEVER GIVE UP! No matter how long or how many times it takes, in the end it doesn't matter. The only way you won't get there is if you throw in the towel. Believe in yourself, have faith and know that no matter how many times you fail, you WILL pass!

Yayyy I passed the NBCOT official a licensed occupational therapist!! Pass The OT really helped me a lot. I got a 470! I did four tutoring sessions and also took the Intensive Course, which helped me so much. The course/ working with tutors both really teach you how to think through and answer the questions effectively. I’d recommend if you haven’t passed previously do private tutoring at least 1-2 sessions because for me it changed how I think and answer questions. The intensive course was really awesome. During it they went through questions and did a brief review of each topic was amazing for me right before the exam. Stephanie from Pass The OT chat also helped me figure out where to focus my studying and how to use the program in the best way possible, I appreciate that she always made time to answer my questions. She helped me understand how to use my time effectively. I started with the assessment, then spent the next two weeks focusing on my weak areas with the tutors, and finished with the Intensive Course I also wanted to add that I’ve used many other sources (literally every single source you can think of for the NBCOT ) I’ve used for this exam but this was what I needed, I wish I had used it earlier on in my studying I’m sure I would have passed sooner. Thanks to Pass the OT platform and team I was able to report my passing NBCOT score yesterday. After struggling with passing the NBCOT, I finally decided to use PassTheOT, which I had put off due to the price and not knowing if it was worth it. I found PTOT to be very holistic in structure with content, highlighted charts, topic videos, practice questions, podcasts, tutoring, and more! I had used other good resources for content and even questions, BUT none told me how to approach a question clearly. This was my continued struggle and the recorded group calls (with Cory especially), plus private tutoring (with Cory and Landis), really enlightened me as to how I needed to approach these questions. Stephanie also reached out to encourage me and highlight my weaker subjects to work on. Additionally, because I was so nervous for my exam, I bought The Final Countdown course with Jessica C. and loved how it summarized a lot of the information I had been studying. She further emphasized the approach (learned from using the program) I had been practicing with questions and clarified any doubts. Definitely, invest in a good study program from the start even if it's a financial sacrifice, or you risk spending way more with re-testing and buying more resources. Again, I used a lot of resources that were helpful but not enough for my struggles or to help me pass, PTOT was the most holistic. When I couldn't read another word on the screen, I loved hearing the recorded group calls and podcasts. I dare say that if you have money for one resource only, use it on PTOT but use it thoroughly to rip the full benefits. I thank God I found this program, God bless the team and continue doing a great job!

Whether that be studying by reading, studying by watching videos, studying by being quizzed or studying with private tutors. This program offers it all. I tried a lot of resources for my first attempt on the exam. I then found PasstheOT. Between the recorded lectures and the private tutoring sessions, they are the reason I passed my exam. I had Kate as my tutor for 6 sessions, and she was amazing. I felt more prepared than I ever had after my sessions with her. I would recommend this to anyone, no matter what attempt they are on for their exam!

Loved using Pass the OT as a studying resource. PTOT helps provide structure and breaks it all down with their modules. PTOT also accomodates different learning styles and provides ways of studying in different formats (notes on content, games, videos, practice quizzes, and more). There are live group tutoring sessions that you can join and recorded lectures from past sessions that you can view to supplement your studying. I also had a private one-on-one tutoring session where we pinpointed my weaknesses, worked on question breakdown, and boosted my confidence! I had Tutor Tucker, he was concise and very encouraging! I ike that there were different packages to choose from (monthly or even weekly access). I also have spoken to Stephanie about studying tips and my gameplan on how to pass the exam. Pass The OT helped me figure out where I needed to start and how to stay consistent with my studying plan. Take the assessment to figure out your weaknesses, go through the modules, take the practice tests for each module, then take the final practice exam. After just missing a 450 by a few points on my first attempt at the NBCOT I was disheartened. I needed to figure out what I had to change in my study plan and regain my confidence. I found Pass The OT through an internet search and started the program right away. I found that Pass The OT does an excellent job in organizing and breaking down information that touches all learning styles. The resources in this program that helped me the most include the audio recordings of past tutoring sessions and the one to one tutoring sessions. I received tutoring from two amazing OTR/L' s that I have high praises for. Both tutors changed my perspective of breaking down these difficult questions we are presented with and boosted my confidence. After my second attempt, I PASSED with a great leap in my score! I will 100% be recommending Pass The OT to all the occupational therapy students I know.

I took my exam on July 16th and I just found that I had passed the Boards with a 463. I raised my score almost 20 points from my last attempt. I really appreciate Cory, Marget, and Shahana who helped me with tutoring and learning the material I was not as confident with. I am so glad I found this program! The study content is quite comprehensive, organized really well and provides links to external videos and content to further supplement your studying. I am so grateful I found PasstheOT. The topics are structured in an organized way which makes it easier to understand. There are variety of resources such as audio recordings, charts, videos, group and individual tutoring that is available. As someone who is both a visual and auditory learner, these resources helped me better understand the material. I had the opportunity to work with wonderful and knowledgeable tutors who genuinely cared about me as an individual learner. Prior to PasstheOT, I was anxious and lacking in confidence. If it weren’t for Pass the OT and their amazing team, I would NEVER have passed the boards! I passed the NBCOT exam on the fifth attempt with a 491 using Pass The OT and the group tutoring sessions. I worked with Kim Shardia Washington who was really great at breaking down the questions to hone in on what NBCOT is really asking. The web course was great as well with simplifying the content into charts that make it easy to organize in your head. For those still struggling to pass this exam, stay confident and positive your time will come! I know it’s hard watching all of your classmates post their passing score but it’s your own journey and what I have learned is to not compare yourself. You are not your classmates , you are you and this is your own experience.

I recommend this program to anyone taking the exam. I initially used AOTA exam prep, OT miri, and Therapy ed and scored a 445. I took 1 week off and then started pass the OT. The program was so well structured with content and breaking it up into module as well as audio recordings, visuals, and tables. It was easy to understand and learn verses just memorize. The tutoring I highly recommend as my tutors Kim and Laura P helped me break down the questions, approach them, eliminate answers, and answer them correctly. I highly recommend Pass the OT! I used the silver package that came with four tutor sessions. I think that the variety of mediums for the content, as well as, the commitment of my tutor were game-changers for passing the exam. My tutor, Kate, was available via e-mail whenever I had a question, and really focused on filling our sessions with the content that I wanted to focus on, as well as, test-taking strategies! I used the TherEd book, notecards and the AOTA packets before, when I first took/failed the exam, and I think one of the biggest improvements with Pass the OT is the organization of the content into tables, visuals and audio recordings. I would highly recommend utilizing Pass the OT and their tutors (Kate, in particular) for passing the exam!

I absolutely recommend purchasing Pass the OT. It is an organized program that simplifies the studying process-- which can be so daunting when you don't know where to start (it takes away that guesswork). The content is engaging, as it's filled with audio recording, visual charts and videos, and it helped the information stick so much better than just reading from a standard textbook. Pass The OT has been so amazing to me in my journey. The information that is provided is broken down to where you'll be able to understand it and apply it to the test questions. PassTheOT helped me pass my NBCOT boards the second time I took it. The first time, I did not use PassTheOT, but used it a lot the second time around. The explanations of the different topics was easier to understand for me then what I had previously used. I also did use the test questions from AOTApdfs and took the TherapyEd exams while preparing to retest. I highly recommend to take advantage of the tutors, especially Angela West. She helped me dissect the questions to understand what they were really asking. She also taught me to ask myself questions as I take the exam to make sure I was not missing any important details or underlining any extraneous information. From not passing by 3 points, I raised my score 26 points while using PassTheOT, AOTApdfs exams, TherapyEd exams, and three tutoring sessions with Angela.

I was at first skeptical of spending the money but it was worth every penny! The material is great to streamline and cut out other topics that aren't seen as often. I participated in the tutor sessions and Angela was THEE BEST! She made sure to tailor all conversations and material to my needs. She was very present during the sessions and I don't think I could've gotten a better tutor. With all that, I PASSED the exam and I am truly excited.

I would recommend Pass the OT and Kim for tutoring, to anyone studying for the NBCOT exam!

I definitely recommend this program to anyone! This program was very helpful in my studying for COTA NBCOT exam. I highly recommend PasstheOT for anyone studying for their board exams. I signed up for the Silver Package and it was all worth it. I love how all the information are categorized in easy to follow format, and have supplemental videos, photos, and audio recordings. I also signed up for one-on-one tutoring and I had Edelina as one of my tutors. I can't stress enough how instrumental she was in the success of my first attempt to take the boards for OTA. She's very patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. She helped me understand the topics better and provided me with some pointers on how to better approach them for easier processing and retention. She's also very flexible and accommodating on how you learn most. For me, she accommodated my request to have a video call session. I highly recommend Angela West as a tutor! She helped me identify effective ways to approach and break down questions, as well as ways to manage my test anxiety. The pass the OT modules also had plenty of detailed information that I did not find in other study materials. I passed with plenty of room to spare!

Pass the OT is a great program to use. I was kind of skeptical when I first researched the website and read the reviews because it sound to good to be true, but I took the risk and went ahead and signed up anyway just to test it out myself. It turned out to be an awesome program that helped me out in a lot of ways. I like how everything is very structured on their site and broken down to where I can understand it. I used this program a least 4-5 times out of the week without a Tutor. I gave myself two months to study before I went and took the OTA NBCOT exam after graduation date. I passed on the first attempt with a 458 score. I recommend using Pass the OT website it’s a great affordable program, you won’t regret it. Thank you.

After failing my first time using Therapy Ed, I decided to try pass the OT (sliver package). Going into my test, I have never felt so confident thanks to pass the OT. The material was broken down in a way that enabled me to not just learn the information but think about it conceptually and apply it to practice. Using therapy ed, I felt like most of my time was spent trying to figure out the information in the book and breaking it down to study. Pass the OT did all of this for me and broke the info into charts, etc which I LOVED! The tutors were also amazing. Angela truly helped me to understand NBCOT language and break down the question. I used her technique during my exam and felt confidence in my answer. No more going between two answers like I previously did and struggled with. She taught me how the best choice was right there under my nose... every time. I scored 39 points higher when I used pass the OT for 5 weeks then my previous test using this program! Pass the OT was the most helpful website when preparing to take the NBCOT exam! I found the pictures, charts, and other resources helpful throughout each module. I purchased the silver package, which included 4 tutoring sessions-however, I did end up purchasing 5 tutoring sessions all together. My tutor was Edelina, and she was the best! She provided me a study schedule to use for 4 weeks and helpful strategies to break down questions while using critical reasoning skills. Most of all, she helped build my confidence back up after not succeeding the first time around. She also took extra time after tutoring sessions to send me other resources/things to remember via email. If you are the type of person who struggles with test anxiety, especially for a mentally draining/challenging test like the NBCOT, I suggest you get a tutor! Overall, Pass the OT provided everything I needed and did not overwhelm me at all. It was a great balance with each module, and I felt guided and supported the entire time. I want to say thank you to Pass the OT for everything! I can officially say that I am a COTA, and it feels great!!

Pass The OT helped me so much with the boards and I passed! I loved the layout of Pass the OT compared to always looking at AOTA pdf files, and studying from the books .Kim was my tutor and she was excellent!!! I will always recommend KIM WASHINGTON as a tutor for the boards.

I enjoyed their website and how they broke down the material in 6 modules. Before moving onto the next module, it is recommended to get a 80% or better on the quizzes. I believe this helped tremendously. I also did the 4 tutoring sessions with Edelina Espiritu. She was a tremendous asset and helped me break down the questions and see what the question was really asking. She was great and did an amazing job tutoring me in helping me pass the exam. I highly recommend her for future test takers.

My son used this program for his state boards. He was always an A student and did not anticipate having difficulty passing. However he failed 3 times because of the nature of the test rather than his knowledge base. One time he failed by 2 points. The test costs $600.00 each time and I was desperate to help him. He was very depressed and feeling he would be stuck working in a factory. 6 years of college and thousands in student loans, passing was the only option.. I researched online and found this program. I was skeptical but paid for the program with tutoring sessions. I felt we had nothing to lose. My son felt better after the first session. The tutor explained the testing strategy and helped him focus on certain key areas of information. He studied the materials, had several tutoring sessions via telephone and then took the test again. His score went up 30 points! I cannot tell you how helpful this was to him, it changed his life. He is now a traveling therapist and loves his job. He is doing great in his profession and his patients love him. He was always a better hands on person and great with people. I would absolutely recommend this program as a prep for the state boards. It is much less expensive that paying for the test multiple times. The board questions can be very confusing asking which of multiple answer would be the best. If you are a mom looking to help your child, I would absolutely say use this program. Worth every penny. Best money I ever spent. And that's saying a lot.

I have been through many struggles in my life but after working with ANGELA WEST Pass the OT tutor I was able to pass my NBCOT exam on my 3rd try. Angela was patient, honest and introduced me to techniques that I probably could not have obtained on my own. Pass the OT is an excellent resource for all students studying for the NBCOT! The site breaks down the material in an easy to read/learn format! There's videos, lectures, and charts that are all so helpful. It is by far the best studying method! I paid for 3 tutoring sessions with Kim who is so awesome! She broke down the questions for me and help me figure out what they are asking. I would highly recommend the tutoring! My score increased by 32 points and I owe it all to Pass the OT! Pass The OT is very user friendly and was an immense help as I prepared and studied for the NBCOT, which I passed on the first try!! This program offers several different packages so that you can find the best match for you. Tutoring is also available. The materials are separated into modules and contain a variety of ways to study. There are handouts, audio clips, and links to videos. Tons of practice questions are provided along with the correct answers and explanations. I highly recommend Pass the OT!!

I absolutely loved this program. After attempting to pass my exam three times with no success, I decided to join Pass the OT. Not only I passed my test, I increased my score by 12 points. My tutor Angela was extremely helpful in helping manage my anxiety issues as well as helping me use strategies to get to the right answers. pass the ot was a great factor in my passing the nbcot. the strategies that my tutor Kim taught me in how to attack and answer the nbcot questions helped me pass the exam with flying colors. definitely recommend them if you are a first time or even a repeater examinee.

Angela is a beautiful angel sent from god to help her students really THINK about what they are answering and why. Pass the OT was a great resource that I've used to help me pass the exam. Using this resource helped me break down material and questions. I also used the tutoring service that helped boost my reasoning and confidence. I used one of the tutors, Kim who was very helpful. She taught me great tips on how to properly break down questions and material. She provided me with strategies that allowed me to identify relevant information to assist with rationalizing the correct answer. What can I say..PasstheOT was pivotal to my success of not only passing the OTR exam, but CRUSHING IT at a score of 525. Mind you, this was my first time taking it as well. I took the TherapyEd 2 day study course complete with the TherapyEd book/USB drive with practice exams. However, I was NOT feeling very confident and comfortable at all with how I was performing on those practice questions/exams and felt like I needed another resource to help me. That's when I heard about PasstheOT (PTO) through AOTA Exam Prep Facebook's group, and found PTO had their own FB group and website. I was nervous about shelling out more money on study materials, but I really felt like I owed to myself and my future to invest in passing the FIRST TIME with confidence and that's where PTO came in as the real MVPs to passing this pesky NBCOT exam. After a month in a half of studying and not being able to retain information or for lack of better words compartmentalize any of it. I felt defeated and knew there was no way I could pass the NBCOT on my first try. After reading numerous post about passtheot I decided to check into it. The prices initially made me close the link. My journey to pass the NBCOT was a difficult one as it took me 4 times to pass, out of all the resources and tools provided for the NBCOT Pass the OT is by far the most beneficial in really helping you retain and learn the information. I improved my score by 49 points from the first to last attempt. I used one of the tutors, Kate only this final time studying and I wish I had done it sooner. This program is worth every penny and I am so thankful for all of the staff!

PASS THE OT was a great way to study for the NBCOT's and I passed on my first try! I used other resources for additional practice questions and tests, but I only used Pass The Ot for studying material. They teach the OT material in a very organized, simple, and clear manner. They divide up the information in 7 different modules with different sub topics. After studying each module you have the opportunity to take a quiz on multiple questions associated with that module, and review it with rationals. Pass The Ot also offers tutoring options. They also have great quick-response customer service that offers assistance in any technical difficulties. Most of all I found that PassThe Ot made studying easy and not overwhelming by dividing the material in different modules and topics.

Pass the OT is a great program for OT students to begin using as they start preparing for boards. It helped me tremendously with organizing my material and simplifying topics that are complicated. What I gained most from Pass The OT was working with my tutor Kim. I initially had one session with her before I took my exam for the first time and during that session, I noticed she had a different approach compared to the previous tutor I worked with-she focused on deconstructing questions and how to get to the correct answer. After failing the exam the first time, I quickly knew that I wanted to work with Kim so I scheduled about 4-5 sessions with her and prepared for about 6 weeks, I did not pass the 2nd time BUT my score went up 30 points and I was 5 points away from 450 (which is the passing score). So I quickly scheduled 3 more sessions with Kim and I am so grateful to say that I passed with a 460! I went up 15 points from the 2ND exam but a total of 45 points combined after working with Kim. I can’t express how grateful I am for Kim and if you decide to work with her-you will NOT be disappointed! THANK YOU!!!!!!

Pass The OT helped me pass the NBCOT on my third attempt. I failed the exam 2 times with scores of 441 and 443. My program director referred me to PTOT. The tutoring and visual aids were most helpful. My tutor helped me deconstruct the questions. I'm a visual learner, the videos helped me to see the diagnoses and symptoms which helped me visualize in my mind while taking the exam. I scored 23 points more, which was the passing score I needed. I attended Keiser University and graduated an ota in December.This was my first time taking this (NBCOT 03/17) test and I passed because of the PasstheOT curriculum. I especially recommend the tutors due to their immense amount of knowledge and intervention expertise. I had the 8 module 4 tutoring session plan. The plan cost about 400 bucks.

Stephanie and her team were a huge blessing to me passing the test. I was struggling and frustrated because I knew the information and had not passed the exam! They came together and formulated the "just right" plan for me to pass, and it worked. Sarah was my tutor and she was amazing in helping to unlock the disconnect! I completely understand the struggle of studying and trying to make ends meet. However, when the struggle is more than what you can bear the best option in my opinion is to get help. I loved my tutor Nikki and all the test taking strategies she helped me learn in order to "answer what the question was really asking me" and not assuming things into it! Highly recommend this program!

Pass the OT helped me to focus on what was most important to know for the exam. Between the modules, charts, videos, and audio recordings, I was able to learn through a variety of ways which made my studying a lot more manageable. Pass the OT knew which topics were important, and the audio recordings that mirrored different topics allowed me to think outside the box. Rather than just knowing factual details, the audios gave me intervention ideas, which helped build my clinical perspective. I would highly suggest the tutoring sessions as well. Whether it be just one session or even 10, talking about questions and topics really helped my learning. Through the tutoring sessions, I found that I was better able to read questions and answer them correctly by the end. I also learned the importance of how to read a question for what it was really asking based off the diagnosis, setting, OT process, etc. Regardless of what method one uses to study for the NBCOT, I would highly recommend using Pass the OT. The staff running the program were very motivating and helpful and the tutor was knowledgeable and boosted by confidence !

This is by far the BEST tutorial service to pass either the OTR or COTA boards. Forget any other programs you may have tried in the past, this is the one that will help you pass no matter how many times it has taken in the past. The material is condensed and concrete so it is much more manageable and less overwhelming than the other courses offered out there. I cannot thank Stephanie enough for creating this program!

After taking the exam previously and learning I did not pass was devastating. I took the Therapy Ed course, purchased multiple practice examination textbooks, and used flash cards. I could not understand where I was going wrong. I even reached out to the college I graduated from and that was a dead end. Stephanie Shane was kind to take the time to speak with me by phone to provide her suggestions. I took the 7 week course with a tutoring session at the end of each week. The tutor I worked with was Kim. She was amazing and extremely professional. We would discuss the questions I got incorrect on the weekly exams and/or any of the material that week I had difficulties understanding. To my surprise, it was not the lack of knowing the material but the lack of self confidence I had in myself. This program helped me understand my greatest weakness by having the professional on the other end of the telephone to discuss my clinical reasoning. I increased my score by 40 points and I am proud to say I am now an Occupational Therapist. I highly recommend this program to anyone who needs assistance with passing the NBCOT exam.

I passed the NBCOT on my first try with flying colors thanks to Pass The OT. I started studying on my own and just felt overwhelmed: the AOTA study program was too basic and the Therapy Ed program had too much info to know where to start. Pass The OT, with their 8 week study structure, was just right. I also got a few phone tutor sessions with them and they were supportive and knowledgeable, with strategies to guide my studying and answers to my most complicated questions. In the end I used Pass The OT to structure my studies, loved their study resources, took their weekly exams, but also used the Therapy Ed book for reference details and took a lot of AOTA practice tests. The combination was best for me, my anxieties and my knowledge base.

WOW. I highly recommend using this program before you waste $500-$1,000 studying other material. I am an older student and I took the NBCOT twice and failed both times using Therapy Ed book and CD. I knew the information, but was not answering the questions the way I needed to in order to be successful. Pass the OT presented the information in a different way and I was able to break down each question and make the correct choice. I went from a 427, to a 431 studying with Therapy Ed to a 468 in four weeks using the Silver package and 4 tutoring session with Sarah.
