This page summarizes our public-facing accessibility statement and our internal WCAG 2.1 AA self-assessment. It is not a formal VPAT.
1. Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Pass the OT is committed to making our online study-prep platform accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe every student preparing for the NBCOT® exam should be able to access our resources with ease and confidence.
Standards & guidelines
Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which outline best practices for making web content more usable for everyone, including those with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
Measures we take
- Integrating accessibility checks into our design and development process.
- Adding alternative text for images and ensuring keyboard navigation throughout the site.
- Regularly testing pages and features with automated tools (Lighthouse, axe) and manual review.
- Training our team on inclusive design and accessibility best practices.

Many of our study materials are also available as printable, text-based PDF files through our secure Dropbox folders. These files support students who use assistive technologies, prefer offline study, or benefit from high-contrast and large-print materials.
