Why does she love occupational therapy?
I love occupational therapy because it’s about helping people return to the activities that give their lives meaning. Everyone is unique, and I enjoy finding creative ways to support each person’s individual goals and independence. Being part of those small victories and seeing the joy it brings is what makes OT so special to me.
Why does she love being a program director?
I love being a Program Director because it allows me to support students as they grow into confident, compassionate occupational therapy assistants. Every student brings their own unique strengths and story, and I enjoy guiding them as they discover how they can make a difference in the lives of others. Watching their excitement as they connect classroom learning to real-life practice is incredibly rewarding. I feel privileged to play a role in shaping the future of our profession while building a supportive community where students can thrive.
What is the best part of working with Pass the OT for her?
The best part of working with Pass the OT is knowing that my students have an extra layer of support to help them succeed. It gives them tools, structure, and confidence as they prepare for the board exam, and it also gives me peace of mind as a Program Director knowing they aren’t preparing alone. I love that it meets students where they are and helps turn a stressful process into a more manageable and encouraging journey.
