During a caregiver support group for MS, one family members expresses their concerns about their loved ones current abilities, “they’re just lazy now.” How should the OT respond initially?

a. educate the family on how that is a symptom of the disease
b. ask the family member to further explain how the loved ones behavior impacts their “home routine” or daily living
